B.A. Economics and Data Science, University of Chicago
I work at the intersection of computation, public policy, and justice to create insightful digital tools that drive change! Trained in econometrics and computer science, I have experience leading in research institutions, local governments, nonprofits, and advocacy work.
I'm driven by a deep desire to reimagine socioeconomic and political realities across the globe. My projects equip scientists, lawyers, policymakers, and local community members with accessible data & software to help tackle complex social and technical issues.
Some of the places I've been and public-facing projects I've worked on in the past:
- Data Science Institute @ UChicago: Development Bank Investment Tracker (DeBIT)
- Fermilab: off-the-shelf data acquisition (otsdaq) software, wesbite, and tutorial suite
- M.S. in Computational Analysis & Public Policy (MSCAPP) @ UChicago: Director's Assistant
- NYC OpenData Storefront Statistics and Registry, annual Statistical Profile of NYC Mortgage Recording Tax, MRT & Property Transfer 2023 Interactive Map
You can find me at my current role as a Data Scientist for the Tax Policy and Data Analytics division at the New York City Department of Finance.
Outside of work I spend my time making art, watching cartoons, playing with my cat, and reading.
